Hi my name is Mike and I'm an alc... oh wait, that's a different profile. I was born in Sumter SC and grew up an Air Force brat. I lived in South Carolina, Upper Michigan, Alaska, Upstate New York, and Ohio until I was able to return "home" to Charleston as an adult. From here I joined the Navy and was stationed four years each in Hawaii and Central California before once again returning home in 2011, this time to stay I hope. I've been literally everywhere in this country and lots of other places in the world and Charleston is definitely my favorite place to be. Except maybe Maui, with 30 days leave and a ton of post-deployment cash... Or Athens, staying in a five-star hotel on someone else's dime... Or Key West during spring break, New Orleans during Mardi Gras... Anyway, those days are over and I've got two awesome kids and a mortgage now and plan to stick around this time
